🏆 Small Potato in Top 8 & Best Presentation at HKSEC Grand Finals 25/26 Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge (HKSEC) has never been about who comes out on top. It's about how we transform social impact into action that truly serves society. I'm grateful to be part of a community that lives that spirit. This year, I pitched more than 10 times. Moving from a rigid script to freeflow was a real challenge—especially because I have dyslexia, and presenting in Chinese adds an extra layer. But somewhere along the way, I stopped struggling and started enjoying the process of using words to express. Receiving the "Best Presentation" recognition means a lot to me. It's a tribute to all the hard work behind the scenes. But the real work is what we do every day. Small Potato BIG Dream is not only about baking. We are changing lives. We are shaping a more inclusive society, turning it into a platform for building life skills, confidence, and connections. What began as a personal frustration is now a growing movement to reshape how society sees SEN individuals. 🍪 1. Workplace Soft Skills Training Baking as a medium, employability as the goal We simulate real workplace environments through baking. SEN participants learn attitude, communication, teamwork, and professional etiquette—skills that open doors to meaningful employment. 🎤 2. School & University Workshops From entrepreneurship to career paths We visit primary schools to universities, sharing stories of entrepreneurship and career journeys. Our message to SEN and non-SEN students alike: Do not let others define who you are. Academic results are not everything. Everyone is unique—embrace your strengths and use tools like AI to bridge the gaps. 👨‍👩‍👧 3. Family-Based Baking Sharing Empowering parents, supporting schooling We encourage parents with practical strategies to support their SEN children through schooling. Change starts at home, and we want every parent to feel equipped, not alone.
